Donations

Monetary Donations:

Linens for Animals is always seeking monetary donations. All donations go to operating costs, basic utilities like gas, electricity, water, and most importantly, the health-care of the animals. Additionally, many of the luxuries our animals enjoy, such as the cat barn, were built and paid for by loans which we are working hard each month to pay off. LFA is a certified 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. LFA is expanding to help more animals in need and has created a small wish list of items that will facilitate a successful expansion. Linens for Animals Wish List:

While we hope Santa will be good to us every year, he only comes once. Linens for animals needs more than the support of good old Mr. Claus! Here's our wish list! Donate Now!

1. Basic Supplies: Dog food, cat food, dog toys, cat toys, raw hide treats, auto-water feeders, durable horse water buckets, heaters, fans, fencing (everything except barbed wire), bagged cement, cleaning supplies (especially bleach), crates (plastic or metal), kitty litter, beds and just about anything else related to animals.

2. Heart Worm Prevention: While losing any pet is terribly tragic, often times the leftover heart worm pills go unused or into the garbage. While we empathize with your loss, donating leftover heart worm pills can help many more animals and is an integral part of the longevity of all animals. Heart worm pill donations are always greatly appreciated.

3. Our Dream Van: We are currently operating with a borrowed 6 passenger van to attend adoptions each weekend. We can only fit 4-6 of our animals in the van. We are in need of a larger van so we can provide new homes to more animals! Donate Now!

4. Senior Sponsors: While it is sad, the reality is that many of our senior dogs and cats will never be adopted. We are dedicated to providing comfortable and happy lives for all of the animals that will live out their remaining lifetimes at our NO KILL Dog and Cat shelter / sanctuary in McKinney, TX. Our senior dogs cost approximately $50 per month to feed and medicate. If you cannot adopt a dog or one of our seniors, maybe you can find it in your heart to sponsor one old pup at our NO KILL Dog and Cat shelter / sanctuary. Donate Now!

Time Donations:

Volunteer: To keep our NO KILL Dog and Cat Shelter / Sanctuary in McKinney, TX, up and running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year we need volunteers. In addition, we have partnered with Collin County’s juvenile probation department and created a one-of-a-kind program where the kids can help the animals and the animals can help the kids. This program has resulted in positive behavioral changes in many of these youth. We have no public funding, grants or sponsorship; therefore, we welcome tax deductible financial assistance, foster homes, adopters and volunteers. Want to volunteer? Click here for contact info.

Fosters: A great way to donate your time and help is to become a foster family for our pets. Being a foster home for our animals in need is simple, just care for the dog or cat until he or she is adopted! For more info about fostering one of our animals in need, contact Dedra Shaver.

Adopt: Adopt a cat or dog! Our animals need homes and you can help! Check out our adoptable dogs and adoptable cats.
